Schedule a Consultation
If you are curious about working together, don’t hesitate to reach out! I offer a phone consultation to discuss your current needs and hopes for therapy. During this call we can briefly get to know each other, I can answer any of your questions, and we can decide together whether I’m the right fit for you as a therapist. If I am not the right therapist for your needs, I am happy to help connect you with referrals.
You’re welcome to fill out this referral form to schedule a consultation, or you can email me at info@therapywithkatieo.com
If you or a loved one is in crisis or having thoughts of suicide, please call
9-8-8, or 9-1-1.
Our office Space

Common Questions
-
I do not accept insurance. I accept private pay only. However, I can provide you with a superbill (upon request) for partial or full reimbursement from your insurance company. Reimbursements are usually dependent on if your insurance company accepts “out-of-network” providers. Please call and discuss with your insurance carrier.
-
Therapy can be scheduled for every week, every/other week, or once a month.
-
A “late” cancel is when you cancel 24 hours or less before your scheduled session. A full session fee will be collected for late cancellations and no call-no shows. Thank you for understanding.
-
Yes I do! I welcome open, honest conversations about what is sustainable for you. Please reach out to me via my “Contact” page and mention this detail in your initial inquiry, or during our consultation call. If I do not have any sliding scale slots available at the time you reach out, I’m happy to place you on my wait list or connect you with another therapist who may be a good fit.
-
Don’t worry- there is really no such thing as “doing therapy” incorrectly. Therapy is 100% for you and in many ways our sessions will often reflect YOU as a person and how you process. Because of this, sessions look differently for every one.
-
I offer writing exercises and journaling, intuitive collaging and symbolism/archetype exploration, movement, poetry, and expressive art exercises.
While expanding your capacity for discomfort is a common theme in therapy, you will never be pressured to participate in a creative offering if you are uninterested.
*Please note I am not a registered art therapist. If you are specifically looking for an art therapist to work with, please visit HERE.
